More projects big and small. The past 2 weekends on site have been working on the cabin and planning out the farm infrastructure. Step 1 of the cabin is sealing it up! Expanding foam spray in a can is great stuff! Use it wisely and it goes a long way. I also crafted a small 4x4 deck which is the front porch right now but will be moving to support the first 300 gallon water tank. I also built a really cute red brick rocket stove (hot water for coffee is a must) and I crafted some window flaps out of canvas to block out the bright sunny days when I want a shady spot to sit inside the cabin. Is a slow development process but its progress in the right direction. I have spent humorous nights out with a fabulous bonfire and a breathtaking view of the stars. I have shivered inside the not yet heated or insulated cabin. I have shivered inside the tent inside the not yet heated or insulated cabin and I have even spent a toasty night in my car sleeping (yes with the car and heater running) (Yep...sure did!). The decks, waters system, grow beds and chicken cooks are next. And most definitely the wood stove and some wall insulation...coming soon! Feel free to come join me on the next work day!
